Rim shows ability to create astonishing shadows

And this time it’s all about recycled bicycle rims and lightbulbs. So what do you get? Well take a look at the Rim Lamp Series, that’s what you’ll get. Beautiful simple, minimalist and elegant lighting design. It’s just wonderful how the light creates astonishing shadows.

The design is by Daniele Luciano Ferrazzano, founder of STUDIO DLF in Stuttgart, Germany. The Rim Lamp Series is devoted to the process of upcycling. The series consists out of sustainable and contemporary floor lamps, ceiling lights and standard lamps.

The lamps can be obtained in different colour combinations. The Rim Lamp Series was awarded with the MINI Interior Design Award 2012 at the Blickfang exhibition in Stuttgart in 2012.
