Tell time with Industrial Clocks and Lamps by Upcycled-hall – upcycleDZINE
In the world of upcycle design there are a lot of lighting objects made with cast iron fittings. And today’s featured design is no exception. But it’s not just cast iron fittings. No it’s the combination with copper pipework, pressure or vacuum gauges, clocks and lighting that makes it special.

Industrial and household items get a second chance

And when you put all this together you get fantastic vintage ‘Industrial Clocks and Lamps‘. These wonderfully crafted by Christopher hall, founder of Upcycled-hall [Fb]. He creates ‘individual, unique and bespoke pieces of home furnishings’.
These lamps and clock’s are made mostly from recycled machine parts. They are made up from parts such as pressure gauges, drive gears/pulleys, gate valves, water meters, regulators and brought together with cast iron fittings and copper pipework. Resulting in unique one of a kind clocks and lamps that are just stunning detailed upcycle design pieces.

The thing I like most is the way you turn on the light. And when I say turn, it’s really turning the small wheel to let it shine and even dim the light.
