Traffic Sign Furniture by Boris Bally on upcycleDZINE
Like I said before as a graphic designer I’m always attracted by visuals that use lines, colors and text/characters. Some time ago I saw these stunning looking chairs made by an American artist, sculptor, jeweler and industrial designer Boris Bally. The ‘Broadway Armchair’ [top] and the ‘Transit Chair’ [bottom] are innovative, colorful, graphic and fun.

The thing that’s really great about these signs are the markings from all those years of being used in traffic. NO two designs are alike. Recycled champagne corks inserted on the bottom of all chair and table legs protect floors and provide added stability and each edge of the chair is rounded to a smooth finish.
