A well known item is a plastic spoon. You’ll see them everywhere. And like most things, after use they get thrown away. Luckily there are more and more creative people that know what to do with trash. Like award winning designer Yaroslav Olenev.
And it’s a beautiful DIY idea. Take the spins, cut them of, insert them into slits cut around a large water jug and add a light kit [see tutorial]. The result is a stunning design that mimics the look of a pineapple or pinecone. So before you throw stuff away, think about what you can do with it. A great example of trash-to-treasure!
