Some time ago I saw this upcycle design and kept thinking about it. I guess because it’s so much fun, very different, friendly and in a way elegant too. I don’t know if it’s just me, but first thing that I thought of was a Giraffe. The long neck, ears and the fragile, slightly bent, legs.
Different styles give coat stand flair
Anyway, I think it’s a fantastic upcycle design coat stand. The design is called ‘Come Walk With Me‘ and is by the creative people of Furniture Magpies, Buckinghamshire | England.
The coat stand is a one-off piece and is made from reclaimed backs of dining chairs. What gives this design its flair and makes it so interesting, is the combination of different chair styles. That’s why this piece of upcycle design can blend in easily in many interiors.
